After a highly successful Frontières Platform at the March Cannes, the Frontières International Co-Production Market returns to Fantasia for its ninth edition, which will take place July 20-23.

Frontières connects North America with Europe in an environment specifically focused on genre film production and financing. Following the announcement of its main line-up of 20 projects, and the new Directed by Women pitch session for early-development female-driven projects from Canada, Frontières is pleased to announce this year’s Buyers Showcase, featuring multiple past Frontières projects currently in post-production, or recently completed. This year’s panels include a focus on Eurimages, and the Nordic Genre Boost, an initiative of the Nordisk Film & TV Fond.

Buyers Showcase highlights include first looks at BASKIN director Can Evrenol’s HOUSEWIFE and LET US PREY director Brian O’Malley’s THE LODGERS.These projects join a line-up of previously announced titles including projects from George A. Romero (NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, DAWN OF THE DEAD), and producer Taylor Hackford (RAY, THE DEVIL’S ADVOCATE).
